Job Responsibility

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for quality, setting quality objectives and targets.
  • Lead the Quality function and build a strong quality culture throughout the organization.
  • Provide quality expertise and guidance to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead internal and external audits and manage regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA).


Process & Performance Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using data analysis to identify trends and root causes.
  • Manage quality events, deviations, non-conformances, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Oversee processes for incoming materials, production, and product release.


Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, train, and develop the QA/QC team.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and manage team budgets.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with procurement, production, R&D, and supply chain to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage supplier quality and onboard new partners. 
Job Requirements
  • Education & Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in energy storage-related fields (e.g., Energy Storage Systems, Electrical Engineering, Battery Technology, Energy Engineering, New Energy Science & Engineering); Master’s preferred.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years in quality management within the energy storage or renewable energy sector, with a minimum of 3 years in multinational or European projects; experience with battery storage systems, PCS, or power station equipment preferred.
  • Quality Systems & Regulations: Proficient in ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949; familiar with European and international standards (CE, IEC, UN38.3 battery safety, REACH, RoHS); experienced in internal audits and supplier audits.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, APQP, PPAP); capable of data analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action implementation; able to define and monitor regional quality KPIs.
  • Supply Chain & Project Management: Experienced in cross-department coordination; capable of managing supplier quality, project launch, and mass production risks; understanding of European supply chain characteristics and regulatory requirements.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional European language (e.g., German, French) preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strategic thinking and system-level perspective; able to drive regional quality initiatives; leadership and team management experience, with the ability to guide and mentor subordinates.
