Job Responsibility

1. India-Focused Logistics Strategy

- Develop logistics strategies optimized for the Indian renewable energy ecosystem.

- Build end-to-end logistics systems for multi-MW solar/wind projects across states.

- Plan for India-specific challenges such as regulatory and infrastructure constraints.

- Drive route development activities including feasibility studies for oversized cargo.

2. Transportation & Freight Management

- Manage domestic transportation via road, rail, and coastal shipping.

- Negotiate freight contracts and ensure compliance.

- Drive logistics cost reduction initiatives.

3. Import/Export & Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee import operations and customs clearance.

- Ensure compliance with DGFT, BIS, and other regulatory bodies.

- Work closely with government agencies for permits and approvals.

4. Warehouse & Inventory Management

- Manage warehouses and transit hubs.

- Implement WMS/ERP systems and drive digitization.

5. Site Logistics & Material Handling

- Lead last-mile delivery and site coordination.

- Support new model launches with logistics readiness.

6. Vendor, Customer & Contract Management

- Manage logistics vendors and 3PLs.

- Work with customers on contract finalization.

7. Quality, Process Excellence & Digitization

- Implement Quality Management System (QMS).

- Drive continuous process improvement and digital transformation.

- Deploy global best practices.

8. Cost Optimization & Risk Management

- Reduce logistics cost per MW.

- Control damages and manage insurance claims.

9. Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence

- Lead team of 10+ members.

- Drive delivery targets and KPI achievement.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

- 12–20 years logistics experience team leadership experience in multinational logistics team >10 years.

- experience in heavy lift or oversized logistics operation is preferred. 

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
