Provide legal advice and risk assessment on a broad range of issues including renewable energy project development, land acquisition, permitting, EPC and O&M contracting, and compliance with SEA energy regulations.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts such as NDAs, MoUs, power purchase agreements (PPAs), EPC/O&M contracts, consultancy agreements, and government-related submissions.

Liaise with government agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), DENR, and LGUs for permitting and regulatory matters.

Support legal due diligence, joint ventures, and investment structuring for project development and acquisitions in the SEA.

Ensure compliance with Philippine corporate, labor, and environmental laws; manage corporate secretarial matters in coordination with external counsel.

Handle or support resolution of legal disputes, claims, or regulatory issues, and manage external legal service providers.

Conduct legal training for internal teams and contribute to the development of legal and compliance policies and best practices.

Licensed to practice law in the SEA with a Juris Doctor or LLB degree from a reputable law school.

Minimum 10 years of relevant post-bar experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or multinational company, ideally in the energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.

Deep knowledge of Philippine energy regulations, corporate law, land use laws, and regulatory frameworks relevant to renewable energy projects.

Experience engaging with Philippine government agencies and regulatory authorities.

Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills; strong command of written and spoken English.

Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
