Job Responsibility

1. Lead community engagement strategies for new and operating renewable power projects in the Philippines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and local norms. 2. Identify key community stakeholders, build trust-based relationships, and proactively manage risks and opportunities through transparent communication and responsible impact management. 3. Design, implement, and monitor community development programs, resolutions, and social license initiatives, reporting outcomes and insights to both internal and external stakeholders. 4. Act as Envision’s frontline representative in negotiations and consultations with government agencies, local leaders, NGOs, and influential community members. 5. Support regulatory and permitting processes by facilitating positive interactions and addressing community concerns related to project execution. 6. Provide cross-cultural advice and training to project teams to enhance community-centric approaches and compliance.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Public Affairs, International Relations, Environmental Studies or closely related fields; relevant postgraduate qualifications preferred. 2. Minimum 8 years’ professional experience in community relations, stakeholder management, or external affairs in the energy or infrastructure sector, with substantive exposure to the Philippine market. 3. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with verifiable successes in complex stakeholder environments. 4. In-depth understanding of Philippine local regulations, socio-political dynamics, and cultural sensitivities relevant to renewable energy and infrastructure projects. 5. Proven experience in designing and delivering community programs, managing grievances, and facilitating dialogue between business and local communities. 6. Strong English communication skills and local language proficiency (Tagalog or relevant dialects) highly preferred. 7. Willingness to travel frequently within the Philippines; open mindset to work in diverse cultural and rural settings.
