Job Responsibility
  • Accountable for direct procurement and plant related requirement for Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing
  • Develop vendor base and manage spend categories for supporting plant production
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Guide/Supporting the team to prepare cost estimates for buying plan
  • Manage company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
  • Work with Global Sourcing teams to drive the cost down
  • Work independently with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Legal, Engineering etc. to drive initiatives to achieve the common goal
  • Develop innovative procurement strategies to reduce cost and deliver parts on time.
  • Focus on strategic actions through alternate sourcing / indigenization of key components.
  • Understand the MNRE / Customs Tariff for major commodities.
  • Contract Management skills.
  • Vendor Development & Relationship.
  • Forecasting through Analyse market condition and define future ready supply chain module.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably looking for a candidate coming from a Renewable / Manufacturing industry 
  • Experience –15+ years
  • This will be an Individual Contributor role for Balde and responsible for leading the entire In-direct sourcing & Procurement for the Blade Factory.
  • Job location will be Ahemdabad
  • Reporting to Supply Chain Head and matrixed to Plant Head/ HQ functional lead (as appropriate)
